| Corporate Responsibility - OverviewCrew Gold believes that a connection exists between high-quality corporate governance, sustainable business performance and the highest ethical standards. We foster a culture that values and rewards exemplary ethical standards, personal and corporate integrity, and respect for others. This culture has two main tenets: one, meeting worldwide demands for greater corporate accountability; and, two, translating into action our commitment to sound corporate governance. Our CEO, holds delegated authority from the Board to achieve all corporate objectives, except those matters the Board has retained for its own decision making. The Board Corporate Governance Charter specifies that the CEO will not allow decisions or actions to be taken without assessing their impact on health, safety, environment and community (HSEC). The CEO delegates authority to committees and individual members of management but remains accountable to the Board for the authority delegated to him.
